Receiving comprehensive support in the comfort of your own home is one of the most common reasons NDIS participants reach out to us. Home care under the NDIS covers a wide range of daily support, tailored to your specific needs rather than a one-size-fits-all service.
Humility Support Services is a registered NDIS provider delivering home care across Brisbane, with support workers matched to your routine, preferences, and goals.
We create a custom care plan after assessing the level of support you need, with input from you and your support network, aimed at promoting independence rather than simply managing tasks for you.
Your plan reflects your actual goals, employment, social connection, skill development, not just your budget. We’re here to help you get the most from your NDIS plan, from daily personal care through to community access.
Having a stranger in your home for personal or intimate tasks is uncomfortable no matter how professional they are. We prioritise scheduling the same support worker for regular home care visits wherever possible, so you’re supported by someone who already knows your preferences and routine.
Home care is generally funded through Core Supports, under Assistance with Daily Life. Depending on your goals, some elements may also draw on Capacity Building funding, for example skill development around independent living.
Home care can feel invasive when it’s delivered by a different worker every visit, especially for personal or intimate tasks, and participants often struggle to understand which part of their plan is actually paying for which service.
We prioritise scheduling the same support worker for regular home care visits wherever possible, so you’re supported by someone who already knows your preferences and routine. Our team is active across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Inala, Forest Lake, Springfield, and Browns Plains, and we explain your funding clearly before support starts.
NDIS home care is for NDIS participants, funded and assessed through the NDIA. Support at Home is a separate aged care program for older Australians, assessed through My Aged Care. Eligibility for one doesn’t apply to the other.
Personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance, tailored to your specific NDIS plan and goals.
We prioritise scheduling the same worker for regular home care visits wherever possible, so you’re not explaining your routine to someone new each time.
It’s generally funded through Core Supports, under Assistance with Daily Life, with some elements potentially drawing on Capacity Building depending on your goals.
