NDIS Support Services Logan

NDIS support services in Logan cover everything from a few hours a week of in-home personal care to full 24/7 supported independent living. The Logan LGA stretches from Slacks Creek in the north to Greenbank and Jimboomba in the south, and the practical reality is that different suburbs have different provider availability. A participant in Loganholme might have more options than one in Park Ridge. Humility Support Services covers the whole region and treats it as one service area rather than a patchwork.

What Services You Can Access

Personal Care

Morning and evening routines, showering, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and medication prompts. Daily personal activities is the most common starting point for in-home support, and our Logan workers handle these shifts every day.

Household and Meal Support

Household tasks covers cleaning, laundry, dishes, and light meal prep. We can also do a weekly cook-up where we prepare four or five portions to be reheated during the week. This works well for participants who can feed themselves but struggle to cook from scratch.

Community Access and Transport

In Logan, a lot of participants live in suburbs that are not well served by public transport. Assist travel and transport is often the difference between attending a GP appointment at Logan Hospital or an aquatic therapy session at Beenleigh and simply not going. We drive, accompany, and assist as needed.

Skills and Capacity Building

Daily living and life skills and life stage transition supports are common in Logan because of the younger participant demographic. Transitioning out of school, moving into independent living, getting a first job, building a social network. These are the kinds of goals we support week to week.

Social and Community

Community participation, innovative community participation, and group activities are all funded pathways for building social connection. Logan has a strong community infrastructure including libraries, rec centres, community gardens, and sporting clubs, and our workers know how to connect participants with these.

Clinical and Nursing

Community nursing for wound care, catheter management, PEG feeding, medication oversight, and chronic disease management. Our nursing team services Logan weekly.

SIL and Accommodation

Supported independent living is available for participants who need shared accommodation with overnight support. If you are looking at SIL in Logan, we can talk you through it, though spaces are typically limited and require some lead time.

Logan-Specific Considerations

A few things that are worth knowing if you are an NDIS participant in Logan. First, response times. Because the region has high demand, some providers will tell you 6-8 weeks for a start date. We can usually start faster than that, but it depends on the shift pattern. Regular weekday daytime is easier to fill than weekends and evenings. Call early in the week if your need is urgent.

Second, travel fees. We do not charge travel inside our standard Logan service area, which covers the bulk of Logan City. For the far southern parts of the LGA, like Jimboomba and Greenbank, there may be a small travel contribution, and we will tell you this upfront.

Third, cultural matching. Logan is one of the most culturally diverse regions in Queensland. If cultural background, language, or faith matters in who supports you, tell us at the first meeting. We have workers from a wide range of backgrounds and we match where we can.

Who Manages Your Plan

It does not matter to us whether your plan is NDIA managed, plan managed, or self managed. We work with all three. If you are plan managed, your plan manager will process our invoices. If you are self managed, we send invoices to you and you pay them. If you are NDIA managed, we submit claims directly. The administration is our problem, not yours.
