Responsibilities Daily Living Life Skills Include

Support participant’s home and personal care in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and shared living arrangements. Responsibilities include supervision or support with: Personal care; Personal hygiene; Showering and/or toileting; Dressing; Mobility; Appointment assistance; Short term accommodation SIL is Supported Independent Living, and focuses on skill development and self-determination relating to the unique needs of each individual living in a shared arrangement. SIL does not include rent, board, lodging, or other day-to-day living expenses, such. as food and activities
In addition to offering support with daily life tasks, our team is committed to providing a holistic approach to care in group and SIL settings. Our goal is to assist participants in achieving their desired level of independence, by working closely with them to develop skills and confidence in managing their own personal care and daily living activities. Our support services include assistance with meal preparation, domestic tasks, managing finances, and community engagement activities.

Furthermore, we understand the importance of promoting a safe and inclusive living environment for all participants. Our NDIS-registered service providers are trained to provide support in emergency situations and assist participants with emergency evacuation procedures. Our aim is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment that enables individuals to live as independently as possible while ensuring they receive the care they need.

We also recognise the importance of providing tailored support that meets the unique needs and preferences of each individual. Our team works closely with participants to develop individualized care plans, which are reviewed and updated regularly to ensure they continue to meet changing needs and goals. By working in partnership with participants and their families, we strive to provide the best possible support and outcomes for all individuals in our care.
